Lindz told me about this app for the iphone where you take a picture each day that exemplifies your day and compile them into a flickr set for the year. Figured I'd do something of the same sort of thing but with my trusty blackberry. (This was after I told her my photoset would be completely boring and look like, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, bed, church.)
So, with no further ado, here's today. It was this sort of a day all day long, physically and emotionally. Sunshine in one corner, roiling brooding tempest of clouds in the other. Am hoping for smooth sailing and calm harbours tomorrow. :)

5 Average my ass.
Getting dressed this morning I checked the label on my jeans, since I have 2 pairs of the same jeans. The first is a 1-2 pair from days long ago. I can still fit in them, on a skinny day. Today was...not a skinny day. The other pair is a size five. Damn but they're comfortable.
Which was when I read it. The label. It said: 5 Average.
Five average my ass. I don't know if I was just in a phenomenally good mood this morning or not, but the tag was downright insulting. I know it's referring to leg length. But it's just...I don't consider my legs average. They're fine. The label should read 5 Fine.
Now admittedly I have jeans from Kohls, which is like, the tim hortons or dunkin donuts of jeans stores. They're not a set of top dollar designer starbucks jeans. I didn't pay money for the label, still, can't a gal get a smidge of self esteem from her jeans? Seriously, 5 Average?
Just sayin'.
